Super busy day here. On Friday, we received a call from CNN asking if they could shoot live from our studio. We are happy and proud to be able to hosting them today as they present their series, “Road to Recovery” focusing on the economy.

We were selected because our hard work and dedication is paying off and we are currently experiencing positive growth in a shaky market, and truly thankful for all of our customer’s help. Without you, we would not be where we are today.

It’s been quite a while since my last post - the holiday season is always very busy for us. We have been hard at work, however, on a few new designs. This is stainless steel damascus and 18k yellow gold. They are in an overlay style, and are another collaborative design with Ann Cahoon of Flying Marquis Studio.

It’s not often that I am very impressed. But recently, I was contacted by a customer interested in one of John Dyer’s custom cut gemstones. I had heard of John, but never done business with him. His work is fantastic, prices are very good, and the cuts he has designed have won him numerous awards. If you are in the market for something special cut from high quality raw materials, please take a look at John’s work. And, oh yeah, call us to make the meteorite, damscus or mokume ring or other jewelry to hold the gemstone!

Things are still crazy with the economy! Please keep in mind that ordering early will protect you from rises in gold, meteorite and other metal prices. Typically, we like to offer quotes that are good for at least two weeks, but with the metals markets the way they are, please be advised that we may need to re-quote, and prices may change. But life goes on, and we are currently working on new designs every day, and will soon have them posted on the web site.
